Thanks for the quick response!

I had checked whether or not Oracle support was in the PHP, and should have
said so in my previous email.

I didn't build PHP myself. But phpinfo() shows '--with-oci8' under "Configure
Command" and "enabled" under "OCI8 Support."

But what you say sounds like it should be the problem ...or related to it. Is
there something else that could be the problem?
