Yes CPAN is very easy! Wonder if the touted PEAR is that easy or anywhere
near.

Installing .deb using dselect in Debian is a snap too. Fetch, configure and
install.

My plan for Phratry is to have a web module installation and management
system similar to CPAN and deselect.
