I think I have the symptom accurately described now. Once the 'defalut
auth' example is loaded WITHOUT logging in first, the session is
authenticated with the name of 'nobody'. When trying to go to the login
page, the current 'nobody' name is used, so no test is made for loggin
in, so no authorization login is possible. I think it should be changed
to say, "You currently have the identity of 'nobody', and are not
authorized for this page. If you wish to access this page, please enter
a login with the required perimissions'. Or make them logout out from
'nobody' (which I have tried and it does not work) and relogin as
somebody new. Or make the relogin cancel the previous user login
automatically. releasing the session may be desired, I don't know. The
user could be asked if s/he wants to release all current session history
when the login as a new user.
