[phplib] Installing PHPLIB on a Virtual Server From: Bo Holloman (drbojxn <email protected>)

Dear List Members:

I am interested in using the PHPLIB Core Functionality. Unfortunately, I
have little control over the server and have not been able to get much help
from the ISP technical support staff.

I have access to PHP 3.0.9 and MySQL 3.22.23B. From reading the
documentation, it appears that the Core Functionality should run under these
versions. If this is incorrect, please advise.

I understand that there are security issues related to PHP 3.0.9. I would
appreciate comments regarding this and additional information.

My biggest problem is installing PHPLIB, since I do not have access to the
php3.ini file and directories outside the document root. Is it possible to
install to a directory within the document root?
