[phplib] too many MySQL connections From: chester <email protected>

I continually receive errors like the following:

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Too many connections in
include/site.inc on line 47

Warning: 0 is not a MySQL link index in config.inc on line 52

Has anyone experienced similar problems? Any suggested solutions? Am
I handling the $db object incorrectly?

(I'm using phplib 7.2 and php 3 on an apache server)
