[phplib] encoding_mode=slashes problem From: John Sutton (john <email protected>)

Hi

I notice that with phplib 7.2c, the default encoding mode in ct_sql.inc is
base64. Is this because encoding_mode "slashes" is now broken?

I ask because I'm having horrible problems with backslash escape sequences when
using mode "slashes".

Or is it because I've got one of the magic_quotes_blah things set incorrectly?

But I notice that the frozen code in the session table is now using single
quotes rather than double quotes as was in my very old version of phplib? Is
this the reason that the slashes mode is now broken? Irretrievably?

TIA
