[phplib] copied system A to system B : cannot connect to database anymore From: Feite Brekeveld (brekeveld <email protected>)

Hi,

I had a development setup on my server working fine with
PHP3.0.16/PHPlib -7.2b and MySQL 3.22.27

Now I wanted to copy it to my ISP machine I run into the problem that it
doesn't want to access the database I continuously get messages a bout
not being able to login to MySQL. But when using mysql-client with the
same parameters there is now problem.

Situation is as follows:

Test setup

web-application connects to local host MySQL without problems
web-application also connects ok to new ISP-host MySQL without problems

ISP-setup
(copied) web application connects Ok to test-setup MySQL

BUT web-application refuses to connect to ISP-MySQL !

Any suggestions ?
