can some one tell me why this mailing list foolishly tries to communicat
with identd on my box every time i send email to this list, i would
never trust identd on a system i have no control over, or even know, i
mean if i trusted that system that much i would have them in
/etc/hosts.equiv which would be just as absurd

thats just as stupid as trusting netbios calls on a winblows box, well
maybe not that stupid, but were getting awful close to that stupid.

I've tried to set sendmail up to verify dns enties but thats just as
futial, cause it always comes back with its just a cname, does not
resolve to an a record. and since it can't verify the strick get host by
name reverse lookup it fails too.

comments flames, hacking whatever, its the wild wild internet
