BUT, I am fully aware of that. That's the reason why I posted my question!
As I wrote previously

my mode IS SET to "GET"! So, I by default do not use cookies at all!
That's the problem! Why do they interfere at this stage. But I think it
gets clearer now, since it seems to be connected to the phplib-4 extension
I mentioned and some caching problems with NC4.7.
