[phplib] Need help with POST_VARS after relogin From: Karsten Dambekalns (k.dambekalns <email protected>)

Hi!

I am having a problem with phplib's session/auth feature. I have a page with
a html form, which the user can edit stuff in. This may take relatively
long...

So it happens, that the user gets back the login screen after submitting the
form (although I use session cookies, so this shouldn't time out right?)...

This wouldn't be too bad, the user could just enter his login information
again - but after that the form variables are gone (and with them the
changes made by the user in the form fields). Is there something I can do
against this? I had a look into the documentation but didn't find anything
specific, the same was true for searching the mailing list.

As I understand it, the use of reimport_post_vars() should be avoided - what
else could I do? (I why did I think that post_vars were (seemingly) untouched
when such a relogin happened?)

Thanks,
Karsten

Because we use emacs, son. They use vi.
