WEll Ulf's been lurking on the list, so I'm sure he is aware of the
problem.. I haven't looked at stuff enough to know how to fix it, but
from the problem report and the notes in the php Changelog I would think
that literally esacping the < > and { } chars in the template code would
fix it, not sure how this would affect php versions <4.0.3.

I don't have time to look at it till next week (since no machine I'm using
is running 4.0.4 it's not high priority.. Sorry) There was a patch-ish
type thing posted to this list yesterday or the day before you might want
to try looking at that (at least as a start..)
