1. There will be no PHPLib 8, maybe one last 7.2d.
2. PEAR will get a boost and become as powerful as PHPLib
3. It's likely that lots of code gets rewritten and modified to follow
the PEAR coding guides

But most important: as we heavily use PHPLib ourself we'll ensure that
the migrated sources _will not break_ totally with the current API.
Wrapper classes could allow a smooth transformation from current Lib
code to a new version.

No need to be scared. There will not be a sudden break.
