[phplib] Auth not working From: Ian Wilson (wilt <email protected>)

I've recently set up my home computer as a linux box, in order to mirror how
my site host works. previously my home system was win2000 and phplib worked
fine.

Since setting up the linux box, Auth has stopped working. I've set up some
pages which require auth to view them. When loading the first page loginform
comes up as expected and after entering user and password the page displays
ok. however when I click on a link to another auth protected page, the
loginform comes up again !!!. (BTW I am using purl for the links)

Apache is ver 1.3.17
PHP is ver 4.0.4
phplib ver 7.2c
mysql ver 3.23.22
all on mandrake 7.2
