In netuse.lists.phplib you write:

The CVS server, the mailing lists phplib <email protected> and
phplib-dev <email protected> and the website will go on, as this
infrastructure (connection, webserver machine, list server
machine, CVS server machine) is being used for many things. It
is little to no work to keep the PHPLIB stuff running.

It is unlikely that I myself will be driving any other release
of PHPLIB any time soon - bugfix or not, nor that I will commit
any patches or documentation into that CVS. Somebody else here
on this list will have to take up this task. I suggest that you
all here assemble yourself and organize into a proper project
and determine one person that will push a release and coordinate
things. This person will also get a login
"phplib <email protected>" and be able to maintain the web
server.

Actually no. But I want to keep up the address
(phplib.netuse.de), as it is pretty well known and busy (see the
access stats for the server for details) and is pointed to from
many places. There is no need to disrupt the service here, or to
fork the project - whoever wants it and can show me that he or
she is able to take it, can have it and the necessary
communication infrastructure as well. But please take the whole
package and do not fork it.

I say '"Please" take it', because I cannot stop any forking or
taking it elsewhere anyway - the project is LGPL and you may do
with it whatever you see fit.

NetUSE and PHPLIB, that is at the moment Ulf, a very small part
of Jan Kneschke's time and me. We are all involved in different
projects now, and have in some way or another moved past PHPLIB,
so do not expect active development from us any time soon into
the phplib CVS.

We do have many other projects, though, which require the
operation of webservers, list servers, and CVS repositories, and
stuff, and one instance more does not matter, so you can keep
the established address and work from there. Expect ongoing,
quick and timely response to problems with the technical
infrastructure here.
