Chris,
I am certainly interested in seeing this move forward.
I have used PHPLib a lot and written some of my own extensions to it,
especially to the OOForms bits (e.g. folding in some of the features of
auth, so that the permission level is a property of the form element). But
my extensions are built on OOForms as they were, not as they have become.
I'm not terribly sure though that I'm the right person to tackle, e.g.,
getting what Ulf has done with the OOForms into a 7.2d release. [From what
I've read on the list, he has done a great job of making it what it should
be. But I suspect that all of my extensions will need to be re-written --
which will be all the better when I figure out how to clone myself in order
to have the time to do so ;-)] I've not been able to figure out how to
access his work in such a way as to be able to download it in an other than
cut and paste mode.
I've never used CVS (just bookmarked a tutorial about it this morning). [BTW
a friend of mine told me this morning that CVS cannot be used from his Win2k
box. He has tried and says the interface is "buggy and doesn't work." Anyone
know where he can find the solution to this?]
And [to whine a bit more ;-)] I can't seem to keep up with the tasks to
which I'm already committed.
But I really would like to see PHPLib move ahead and not just dissolve into
cyberspace. So if there is something I can do besides cheer you on, then I'm
willing to try.
Cheers!
Mike Green
