Most strangeness with virtual domains oft came from DNS
problem. Check out that the server is able to resolve each domain,
and that Apache (or what are you using) sends the correct
hostname back to a client request - if it doesn't, it would send a
cookie with the numeric IP as domain, and the client won't send it
back with a request to a specific domain.
