Hi
Is there a web page/site anyone can point me to
that talks about the future of PHPLib? This
issue seems to have been raised on this
list in May 00 but I can't find much info about
i.
I am thinking of using it as the basis of some
web sites but would like to know what the future
plans are for it, who the developers are and
how it is developed. For instance, I assume a
future version will incorporate some of the
changes to the way sessions work with PHP4.
Will there be a smooth migration path for
those people who maintain sites based on
PHPLib when moving to PHP4?
I believe the official web site for PHPLib is this one:
but this does not contain the information I seek.
I understand PEAR and PHPLib are to merge.
What is the implication for those already using
PHPLib? If I go ahead and start to use PHPLib
to develop sites I will be happy to contribute
to it's development. I figure it could do with
a slashdot-type site where new changes/
additions could be discussed. Anyone agree?
Sorry if I am going over old ground here but I
can't find this information anywhere.
Cheers,
James
