Hi,
Could someone possibly supply a working phplib subset that would
work nicely with mysql 3.23.36 and the newest php ?
I was thinking only about sessions for the starters.
With the current setup we run into two major difficulties:
1) it looks like there is this 'duplicate key' error, where
phplib inserts the row to database instead of updating one.
2) we also get _LOTS_ of 'Aborted connection ... (Got an error
reading communication packets). in our mysql logs.
It looks like php might be the culprit here not closing the
persistent database connections correctly, thus the error messages.
All this renders the setup unusable.
I have been performing some tests on apache1.3.19,php4.0.4p1 and
the latest phplib, while evaluating the usability of various open
source packages to in developing web based applications.
Could anyone provide the examples of setup that is actually working,
and consists of fairly new releases of packages I have mentioned ?
Due to security issues I ma interested in
apache >= 1.3.14
mysql >= 3.23.31
php >=4.0.4
Thank you in advance.
Ted
