Hello,
for testing purposes, i switched from ct_sql to ct_mysql.
ct_mysql uses REPLACE instead of the SELECT/UPDATE/INSERT combination.
But the auth-bug still occurs.
On a _very_ fast machine running mysql with the same database setup
(active_sessions, user etc.), if i change the connection parameters
of my phplib app to this db-server, our bug is never happening.
But this is, of course, no solution
.
I would feel better if my slowish production server has a bug-free
auth functionality...
So, our auth-error is maybe NOT to be found in the ct_sql part of phplib.
To Darcy W. Christ:
you wrote that you patched your code a long time ago when you saw
these postings.
What have you done exactly (auth.inc ?!) and, are u 100% free of the
glitch now ?
Holger
