alright, i may have found the bug, but i'm hoping i can get some help to
find a solution. As best i can see, the bug occurs when a login name is
entered incorrectly once. At this point, it becomes impossible to log
in correctly since the username is a session variable. The only
solution is to destroy the variable or destroy the session. i think the
solution is to find a way to allow the username which is entered in from
the commandline to override the session variable. In my experience,
this is quite difficult, if not impossible. Could someone provide me
with some input. Is it possible to allow the username being submitted
to possibly take precendence over the session variable of the same name?
