[phplib] Remote database updates From: Greg Speed (gspeed <email protected>)

I'm using PHP-LIB and MySQL on a web server at
http://www.concordantrater.com. The study that this is running is also
having to be installed on 100's of laptops. The study will collect data on
each of the laptops. Then about once a week the local admin of each laptop
will run some sort of update program (that I'm writing) that will upload the
collected data to the main web server database. This is my problem, how to
get the data from the laptops to the main database. Each laptop is running
Apache, MySQL and PHP with php-lib.

Before I dive into this and start from scratch, does anyone know of any
documentation or pre-existing code out there that does this sort of thing?
Or do you have any suggestions or time-saving helpful info?
