Well, you can make a lot of money on this if you do it 'right' - i.e. tie
them to a long term support contract. NT machines do need more personell to
keep going, and Windows as a server OS is is much more troublesome so they
need more manpower to keep it going.

Actually, I don't know of ANY business that risks it's IT infrastructure by
installing Windows on the servers. Not even Microsoft does this - the main
data crunchers are IBM AS/400 machines, the routers at Microsft HQ are
Ciscos, the firewalls are by Novell. ;)
The only thing that runs Win2k are the (visible) web servers, and those are
six machines, babysat by 31(!) administrators, day and night.
(Ask yourself why you should use an OS that the developer company doesn't
even use themselves.)
