phplib will work with php4, however, you will need to make sure that
php4 will work with .php3 files. There is a way to setup phplib to use
php4's builtin sessions. i have not done this yet, so i cannot guide
you on this matter. And finally, it is possible to have both php3 and
php4 running under the same server. This is the way i have it setup on
my machine. There's a few tricks to how you set this up. It's on the
php.net website, as well as in the general README for php4. Hope this
