[phplib] Problem with php lib upon session startup. From: William Sandman III (wsandman <email protected>)
Date: 06/27/01

Greetings,

I've inherited management of a site running phplib which was running
quite well until we upgraded our server from old Slackware to new
Debian.

The problem is if page_close() is used with page_open() in an page
using the session features, when the freeze() method is called on the
session data, the response from the MySQL backend is that an attempt is
being made to enter session information with a duplicate key.

It appears that the new version of php has some things in it that
weren't there before.

I just started reading the docs and mail list, so if this is a well
know problem I apologize for being such a newbie.

If you know of a fix/workaround or config issue I've missed, please let
me know.

for the record:

session.inc,v 1.11

PHP v. 4

best,
