Note that there are several bugs in that file. They have been discussed on
this list many times, but still exist in the CVS archive.

I have attached to this email my template.inc file that includes fixes
for all the problems discussed on this list.

As well, it includes:

Inclusion of some of the nicer looking modifications from the
phplib-devel template.inc (function comments, debug format, better
error checking, rename "handle" to "varname" throughout)

PHP 4 fixes

Some fixes for a few bugs that have caused me grief over the years

While this version of template.inc serves me well, you may be well-advised
to treat it as beta software. Although I'm sure you'll get less headaches
from it than from the distribution version :)
