I'm telling you and all the others about the consensus
of the discussion we had here in this list when Ulf and
Kris said that they would stop active developing on
PHPLIB.

I'm telling you that in my opinion it's not a good
idea to waste time with moving a project from one
place to another where, from a technical point of
view, it doesn't buy you anything.

I'm telling you that the future won't be typing in
"PHP session system" at SourceForge. The future will
definitively be typing in "PHP session system" at
http://pear.php.net/, the mother home of components &
PHP classes & PHP extensions. It is needed[1] and it would
be great having the PHPLIB components inside PEAR.

If you want to help PHPLIB, then help to migrate
it to PEAR.

The future won't be "install PHPLIB", the future will
be "install all needed components, e.g. Session or
Auth class, from PEAR".

[1]: I have talked to many developers in big companies.
They see the need of PEAR. *You're right* that many of them
even don't know phplib.netuse.de [2], but that wouldn't help
if PHPLIB was on SF because they don't have the time to
search through thousands of projects on SF. They need
PEAR.

[2]: some months ago I made a code review of a 100000+
lines of code PHP application: they didn't use PHPLIB
components.
