For those who followed the threads earlier about migrating PHPlib components
to PEAR, could someone please summarize in a few short sentences what the
debate really was and why that effort went to the wayside? I am optimistic
that maybe something could be salvaged of that effort, and like Bjorn, I
agree that the future will be in PEAR, and see that effort as what ought to
be the ultimate aim for PHPLib's future if it wants one.
