Yes, that's true. But think of the future, where PEAR
consists of hundreds of thousands of classes - do you
think at this time people will type in "PHP session
system" or "PHP authentication system" at SF in order
to find "PHPLIB"? No, they won't. They even won't go
to http://phplib.netuse.de/.
They will have their command-line and GTK-based installer
for PEAR classes and they will type in "PHP authentication
system" in this installers' search input field.
So, in my opinion, if you want to give PHPLIB a chance,
migrate it to PEAR (as it was consensus in previous
discussions, refer to the ML archive). It's the only
logical way for frameworks/classes like PHPLIB's classes.
