i thought that one could setup a project at sourceforge, but still keep your
homepage. There's a project called squirrelmail which does this
(http://www.squirrelmail.org/ and
http://sourceforge.net/projects/squirrelmail/). It seems me that if nathan
wants to setup sourceforge he should. The exposure may help. At the same time,
some of the other folks can work to get phplib into PEAR.
as an aside, i really don't know much about the organization of phplib.
However, if there isn't some kind of organized discussion going on (possibly
outside of this list), i would suggest we start one. i read a great article
about open source projects talking about the lack of management. It's a big
responsibility to guide a project and it sounds like that's what we need. Why
don't we form a group, and elect people to be in charge. They will represent
the community and help to make the final decisions about which way to go. Just
a thought.
