[phplib] php where to go next From: Arno A. Karner (karner <email protected>)

well people werent to keen on the idea of a common document api, i guess
the all want to make diffrent template files for each browser. reminds
me
of the debate in unix termcap vs terminfo. they both still exist, and i
still
use terminfo every time. so that class will be my own, next markup
language
for me to support is wap, or hdml which ever one my new cell phone uses.

for phpapp, it sits on top of phplib and im not happy that bug fixs are
not being
incorporated or release. i get most of my fixes from the this list or
other
mail archives. Ill probaply release phpapp anyway on my own when iv'e
got it
stripped down to some thing simple that wont boggle newbies.

One thing would help though a common coding style sheet, so that when
people have
done work, they can merge there code into whatever it ends up being, and
have
it seem like it always belonged there.

if / when some one wants to start a discussion on where phplib should
go.
count me in, if phplib does not grow it will die. be absorbed, replaced
but it will
still be dead. then i convert the three classes i use sess, auth, perm to
what
ever is there and im done.

Myself i thought phplib was already dying / dead but with all the flames
maybe
there will be enough of us for this thing to grow instead.

ps i like someones spell checker better than mine, mine translates arno
into arson, not arlo.
