Re: [phplib] [RFC] Future of phplib From: giancarlo pinerolo (ping <email protected>)

I am a spectator, I only came back, few days a go, to phplib after years
of absence, and realize I have made enough noise...

But didn't someone point out that the 'real' debate' was on PEAR?

I've read the past threads obout that on phplib, and couldn't but guess
has been going on...

Let me ask some provocative question.

What impeaches PHPLIB to enter the PEAR project? The PEAR peple, the way
they wanna drive PEAR, the requirements, the necessity to discorporate
peices of PHPLIB, the acceptance of PHPLib's DB abstracion layer?

As I read that the guidelines are not there in place yet, isn't it the
best moment to put a feet into that, so maybe general favour,
acceptance, acquaintance or whatever, can weight in the decision
making?

It happens many times that you have to say 'yes sir', but then, ehm...,
do what you think... and you end up doing the right thing...

Just my slightly anarchoid way of thinking...

Giancarlo
