I want to have an auth that only works with
PHP4 sessions with different storage containers
as PHPLIB provides it with CT_*.

Nothing pluggable -- IMHO. First goal should be
to have a clean port of existing Auth to PEAR, i.e.
same functionality as currently in PHPLIB, but sitting
in PEAR.
