Yes we are doing something against it - we are not merging into PEAR
seriously folks - let us end this debate !!
The current bottomline
1) PHPlib != PEAR
2) They may merge in future with future tending to infinity (ah! forgot
how to write that one as an equation :-)
I seriously propose that we re-position PHPlib as an application frame
work rather than a Class Library/Repository
