This was proved several times. Now that was 6-8 months ago, so maybe it has
changed, but I hear the same complaint from the PEAR list. So, the burden
of proof is yours. Prove that it is NOT!

It has been almost a year since it's introduction and 6-8 months since the
PHPLib/PEAR merger announcement. PEAR is still trying to decide what it is.
Again, the burden of proof is yours. Prove that it is NOT!

Stating facts, no matter how unpalatable they may be, are still the facts.
So, this group is NOT "mourning and weeping around", but are doing
something. We are blowing off PEAR (for now) and pushing a proven
environment forward. I might say the same to you. Put up or ....
