The thing is, I want the files to be executed on the server regardless of
where the flash applet is run from. I want to be able to pull up a browser
from upstairs to kick off a set of MP3's on the server downstairs (I live in
a loft). The actual execution of files would be limited to local IP
addresses, but I will allow remote users to login and browse/download MAME
(www.mame.net) ROMS and MP3's. Also, I can do silly crap like showing what
MP3s, movies, and ROMS have been played recently on my main website.

Huh? Have Flash open a new browser window with a URL to the media to be
played. The browser shoul;d know enough to open the correct app to handle
it (or play it internally) Or am I dense and missing something?
