Hmmm.

But as far as Oracle says (I received an official statement from their
support via third party), there is no such thing as 'Oracle Client' for
BSD, this platform is definitly not supported. And as long as PHP does not
compile without it...
Also I know now, that I would need the
SQLNet-Library, which is a platform dependent .a-File, which doesn't exist
for BSD/OS either.

I think I will try my luck using Oracle for Linux, compile PHP on Linux
and then try to talk to the database on NT.
