Does anyone else find this question quite funny?
MS SQL Server is based on Sybase code purchased from Sybase.
Kinda explains why Sybase and MS SQL server use the same extension.

Hello,
I'm trying to connect via PHP to Sybase from Win'98 Having Personal Web
Server and I get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function sybase_connect()
I haven't found any dll named *sybase* for Windows. Is there any way of
supporting Sybase?
Please help me.
Many thanks,
Javier
