[PHP-DEV] Zend API Documentation From: Andi Gutmans (andi <email protected>)

We have put up the Zend API Documentation which originates from Till Gerken
  & Tobias Ratschiller's book "Web Application Development With PHP"
(http://phpwizard.net/book/ <-- buy it :) It's a good book.
We have already made some fixes to the documentation to reflect some
changes which were made since the book appeared but it still needs some
work to get everything up-to-date.
Although it still needs work we do think that getting it out in the open as
quickly as possible is good because a lot of people are asking about good
documentation for writing PHP extensions and I think this documentation is
a very good start. I think besides content issues there are some formatting
issues in order to make the documentation more readable on the Web but that
is something which we can gradually work on.
The chapter has been released by Zend Tech. under the Open Publication License.
We have opened a mailing list for people who are interested in improving
the documentation engine-api-doc <email protected> (to subscribe:
engine-api-doc-subscribe <email protected>).
