I guessed both of you are the right persons to ask:
this patch prohibits users from missconfiguration.
For example you can compile with --with-db2 and
--with-db3 and think you may work with both file
formats. Unfortuanetly you can only have one of the
db<n> sub modules.
The problem i have commiting this to the branch is
that i have nearly completley rewritten the configure
file. Especially it works different from the original
version. But it does not need .h or .c changes.
So i ask you wait for next major release or commit?
