Hi Mike,

thanks for your response.

Initially I just took:
./configure --with-apache=... --with-mysql=... --with-mcrypt=...

The trials including
  --with-zlib-dir=...
or
  --with-zlib=...

also failed.

Do you or anyone else have an idea?

Did you try that? (Adding --with-zlib-dir=<DIR>)?
