[PHP3] Idea / Newbie concept From: Andre Anneck (anneck <email protected>)

Hello everbody,

reading through the list today i again noticed that more often
"newbie" questions get answered with RTFM, and they are beginning to
annoy the "Guruīs" on this list. (not to mention the documentation
bugīs)

This is just an idea, but would a volunteer php3 Mentor-Student
programm be a good thing?

Sketch of my Idea:

- Guruīs volunteer to be entered as Mentorīs in a Databank, and to be
willing to take x students.
- Students can access the database and can humbly ask Mentorīs to
accept them as a student.

>From that point on.. the student can get and stay into email contact
with his mentor and ask all those newbie questions. The mentor can
show the student all the neat tricks. (instead of annoying the guruīs
on this list).

And one fine day the student will be over the point of asking newbie
question, and maybe some fine day, will offer his knowledge as a
mentor....
