FONT = Evil, but supported in pre 4.0 browsers
CSS = Good, but limited support.

CSS = Good ;-)
FONT has no rules and is semantically worthless. FONT was designed by someone with entirely too much free time in one afternoon. CSS is well defined and quite handy. CSS was designed by experts over several years.
