[PHP3] Ora_Bind From: Asian Avenue (ccimail <email protected>)
Date: 07/27/98

I am currently trying to call the following statement:

SELECT myFunc( :x, :y ) FROM DUAL

:x and :y are my bind variables. I have put the block of code for this in
an HTML file called one.html. If I run this with code (which performs the
bind in the correct order) all the results come back OK. However, if I
try to include this file FROM two.html...I get the following errors:

PHP 3 Warning: Ora_Bind failed (ORA-01036: illegal variable name/number
-- while processing OCI function OBNDRA)

Then I get:

PHP 3 Fatal error: Could not make parameter placeholder in ./one.html on
line 34

I realize this message is vague...I just can't seem to understand exactly
WHAT is happening. This code seems to work fine in one place and
completely fail in another. The version of PHP 3.0.1 against Oracle
8.0.3.

thanks,
Mike
