Hi Steve,

I havent done it myself (yet) but from a previous mail on this list I got
the following:

You can use MS SQL Server 6.5 with php. You need to download Open
Client/C for LINUX, version 10.0.3, from ftp://ftp.sybase.com/pub/linux/.
 Or you can also install Sybase ASE for Linux, at
http://www.sybase.com/sqlserver/linux/.
