[PHP3] File Locking From: Mike-EEE (mike <email protected>)

Alrighty,

Excuse by newbiness. I'm looking to lock a file when I open it so that
another process can't interfere with it. I'm messing with making a counter
for a site, and presently I have Perl flock the file so that nothing can
touch it while it's being updated. Does PHP's fopen automatically lock a
file when it opens it?
