Hi,
I have a problem with installation of PHP. The environment is as follows :
Red Hat Linux release 5.2
Apache Ver 1.3.0
MySQL Ver 6.2 Distrib 3.22.14-gamma, for pc-linux-gnu (i686)
PHP Ver 3.0.6
I get to the point where I have used ./configure on the PHP source with no
errors and try and run make. Make results in the following error :
functions/mysql.c:84: mysql.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [functions/mysql.o] Error 1
When I check for files mysql.h or mysql.o in subdirectory functions, they are
not there.
I have tried starting from scratch and have searched the FAQ but have not found
an answer. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the download (I used
the UK mirror site)?
I would be very grateful for any pointers ....
Alex Schlup.
