I am impressed by the number of sites reported as using PHP.
278297 Domains and 90264 IP Addresses according to the web site. I am
curious though how much of an understatement this is.
I have two virtual domains with different ISPs and use PHP at both.
When I put them into the query tool at:
http://www.netcraft.com/cgi-bin/Survey/whats
I get very different results:
xxx is running Apache/1.3.3 Ben-SSL/1.29 (Unix) mod_perl/1.16 PHP/3.0.5
FrontPage/3.0.4.2 on FreeBSD.
xxx is running Apache/1.1.1 on IRIX.
I assume that the second one is not contributing to the PHP statistic. I
wonder how many others are the same.
