Yes, this version was released on April 18, 1998. That is very close to
being a full year old. On the Internet, that is a lifetime.
Try pointing your browser at:
http://cvs.php.net/cvsweb.cgi/ChangeLog?rev=HEAD
And scroll down until you see Release Candidate 4. You will see all the
changes that have been made since then.
