We have installed PHP on Unix Intel Solaris as an Apache Module. It
appears that Apache is not processing any PHP code. We ran httpd -l
and mod_php3.c shows up and also the Addtype for php3 was added to
httpd.conf for Apache per FAQ 4.8. We tried adding and loading the
extra modules in the httpd.conf for Apache per FAQ 3.2, but Apache
will not start because we probably are not using the DSO option. We
copied in the default php3.ini to /usr/local/lib but have made no
insertions to this file. Also we generated support for INFORMIX
database access. (We tried the sample script in Example 1-1 of the
manual).
Please advise with some suggestions for getting this going. Are
there others things we can do to test this out?
Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions, ideas :-)
