I just got a job with the most popular web design company in new zealand.
This company (webdesign.co.nz) does not use or swear by any programing
language, they specialize in graphics. They are considering using ASP for
databases, web site admin and so on... then I told him about PHP and he has
never heard about it, should i showed him the site and all... I told him I
can learn enough PHP to do what he wants... but he wants to see some stats
about PHP compared to ASP.
Please help me convince my new boss that PHP is the way to go so I don't
have to learn ASP...

Hi.
You go to a very hardweight task.
* Session state managment: IIS generates unique 'session id' and code with
it cookies data
* Shared data mech, including com-object instances. Fully intagrated with
application server. It allow multitasking cross-process and cross-machine
threading
* Both above had implemented at spring 1997
* Good integration, using activex interfaces, with IIS, Account database,
SMTP, etc.
* There are ASP compiler (vb6). It generates persistent machime code at
web-server process. Thread per browser request.
* Useful development envirounment
* Intact debugger
* Good documentation
At abounded USSR there are contrariwise problem. Most popular web-platform
is the ISP provider OS.
Apropos thats why I go to php practice.
Grammer and orthograthy suggestion?
